After a long term of rumors, Facebook finally have acquire Face.com, a Israel based technology company for undisclosed agreement. The terms and condition of agreement have not been disclosure.
Face.com powers facial recognition , where third party can easily incorporate.
Face.com already have two application for Facebook :
Photofinder, helps to find the untagged Photo of themselves as well as friends
PhotoTagger, enables mass tagging of the Photo that was uploaded to facebook.
In a post of corporate blog of face.com, CEO Gil Hirsch indicted that he and face.com team will be focused in creating apps for Facebook. However he did not stated when face.com will be redirected to facebook.com
