007 is the number cool or the agent !

Have you ever heard of agent 007, yes you guessed it right, I mean the guy who says ‘My name is BOND, JAMES BOND’ - Code name agent 007. Ok, let us talk about fairy tell, long time back a man named Ian Fleming wrote stories of an agent who has the right to kill, this agent was sent out in typical and bewildered / complicated mission and the chief was always sure that the mission would be accomplished.

As per the description of the agent written by Ian Fleming, this agent was a killing machine and went to any extent to make sure that the mission is accomplished. The only weakness that Mr. Fleming gave to this agent was Woman. Though, it is also depicted that this agent was so cunning that he even used his weakness for succeeding in his mission.


An agent needs to have cool gadgets to fight with for he is no super human but a normal human with some extraordinary gadgets – for this each James Bond story had a scientist who used to invent new and latest gadgets ranging from lighters to pen bombs and glass cutter to that of MW series cars fitted with rockets and ejection seats along with oil spoilers.


The search was over with SEAN and few series of movies were released. But then Ian might have thought to get a better BOND and thus till date so many actors played the role. Beginning from SEAN CONNERY then came in GEORGE LAZENBY followed by ROGER MOORE and TIMOTHY DALTON to PIERCE BROSNAN and DANIEL CRAIG.



I know now the question in our mind is - what is cool, or rather who is cool? Is it the code name,the agent name or the actors who played the role? Well, let me be clear on the fact that it has to be the actors to be the most coolest because it is them who gave us the picture of how the agent should look like and how the agent accomplished his missions. I know now you all must be thinking that so many actors played the role then who is the coolest of them all.


In a general survey conducted after the latest BOND – Daniel Craig had arrived, it was found out that most of the heard were not even aware of George Lazenby and Timothy Dalton playing the role of Agent 007 and those who were graded it as a FLOP SHOW, even some went to the extent in placing their review that Ian Fleming had selected wrong actors to depict the role of JAMES BOND 007.


Well, rumors and reviews do reach the writer’s ears and he decided to change over and bought in PIERCE BROSNAN followed by the first ever BLONDE, BLUE EYED BOND played by Daniel Craig. There is no second thought that the best was Sean Connery followed by Roger Moore,but as of date the latest heart robe is Daniel Craig. Well the oldies were depicted slow, due to the effects used and the direction of the movies, but since the revolutionary change in the technology and more experience gathered after making so many similar movies the director has also been able to give the new BOND a new cool look.


While Pierce Brosnan, was the ideal choice for being the coolest BOND, for BOND’S trademark is that the agent is always in suit, and the rich look given by suit wearing PIERCE BROSNAN was awesome, though the legacy is maintained by Mr. Craig, however the most attractive thing that makes Mr. Craig the coolest BOND is the way is kills the goons and attacks the bad guys,destroys the hideouts and dismantles bombs in the right time. The way he approaches women and uses them for his benefits, the most coolest thing is the new gadgets given to the new blonde bond and the timing he uses it, Daniel Craig succeeds to become the most coolest bond ever with just few of the movies released but the way he shows up, a cool guy who pretends as if nothing happened even after he blasts a chopper and fall down with an enemy from the roof.


To all the readers, though till date the above mentioned had been playing roles of BOND but wait for the mystery for as thrilling are the movies of IAN FLEMING so are the change of characters, hence hold your heart and wait until you see a new face playing the 007 role and might be more cool than the coolest. For you never know that the next man beside you might suddenly say ‘My name is BOND – JAMES BOND’!!!!!
