Although Facebook has gone through major redesigns in the last few years,the blue color has remained more or less the same all through.From the sign up page to their logo,the buttons,popups and even their mobile apps have sahases of blue. Ask the face of Facebook himself ,Mark Zuckerberg would reply "Blue is the riches color for me.I can see all of blue." According to Zuckerberg's Interview in the New Yorker by Jose Antonio Vargas,Colors doesnot matter Much to him. A few Year ago he took an online test and realized that he was red-green color-blind.
Earlier Colour Lovers released a report on the colors of the social web. According to the data analyzed by their Twitter theme tool(Themeleon ),blue was a Dominant Color in people's profile design. Unlike most social networking sites,Twitter allows its users to select a theme to represent themselves,thus projecting their digital persona with colors. Color Lovers decided to study this color preference by analyzing choices made by over 1 million people who used 'Themeleon' over a period of 3 months. Interestingly a majority of people didn't wander that far off from Twitter's Default light blue Colors.
Colours Lovers also discovered that blue is the ruling color among the top 100 sites in the world ,Followed by the Red Color.
