Apple is now expected to battle head to head along with one of the best smartphones in the market after unveiling their latest phone.

At the Yerba Buena Center for Arts (San Francisco, CA), Apple unveiled their latest generation iPhone and had the entire tech world watching to see what it could possibly bring to the table. Some of it's new featured include 4G/LTE connections, a brand new 4 inch display and an updated operating system.

The main rival to the iPhone 5 is of course the Samsung Galaxy S3 which was introduced this year in May. Despite the hype revolving around the new iPhone, Samsung has released plenty of Facebook and Youtube ads during the last couple of weeks. Also in one of their videos they took a stab at the iPhone showing a list of reasons why Galaxy S3 is actually the better phone.

Samsung has claimed that the next big thing is already here, and that is of course their new Galaxy S3. It comes with some amazing features such as a bigger screen, 4G/LTE connectivity and NFC through S Beam.

- Bigger screen display: The display on the Samsung Galaxy S3 is considerably bigger at 4.8 inches. The screen size that it comes with is absolutely perfect for people interested in watching movies on the go.

- NFC: One of the main features that you won't be able to find on the iPhone 5 is the Near Field Communication. People are able to enjoy this feature through S Beam and you can also share content using it.

- SmartAlert: It's already aware that you've been away from your phone and a vibrating nudge will let you know whether or not you have any missed calls or messages.
