Wreck It Ralph is a lot alike the already well-known Toy Story in the way that as soon as humans are away, the characters come out and play. This game is one of the several video games at a popular arcade. As soon as the arcade closes for the night the characters are no longer working and they are transported directly within this interesting world inside the crevices and nooks of arcade machines.

The main character Ralph has gotten sick and tired of being outshined by his video game’s hero Fix-It Felix. Ralph is voiced by John C. Rilley and Fix-It Felix by Jack McBrayer. Ralph's job is to basically break and wreck the building so that Felix is able to come to the rescue along with his golden power hammer and then make all the necessary repairs. Felix always ends up winning while Ralph gets thrown off the building by the townsfolk..

Ralph is so tired of constantly being seen as the bad guy that he decided to set off within the arcade world by himself and then try winning a gold model as well as impress Felix and the rest of his town. Also he sneaks his way into the armed forces "Halo" type of game where he starts fighting the Sergeant and a pixie blonde warrior programmed with the most tragic back story you could possibly imagine.

Ralph also sets out for a visit to the "Sugar Rush" which is a racing game for bright kids involving gum drops, candy canes, syrup, etc and it reminds him of Willy Wonka's world. Out there he meets up with Vanellope von Scheweets who is considered a glitch within the game and constantly made fun of by some of the other racers, and most notably King Candy. Ralph and Vanellope are quick to team up and they both hope to prove that they're valuable within their own games..

Wreck-It Ralph by Disney works due to plenty of reasons, some of which including an original script, memorable voice performances as well as bright visuals which contrast the settings of the film. The screenplay has been written by Phil Johnstop and Jennifer Lee and it's one of the best of the year because it's smart, hilarious and every age is going to love it..

The thing about these actors is that they give some great voice performances, but major props will have to be given to Silverman who almost disappeared into this young wannabe racer Vanellope. The producer John Lasseter who's also the mind behind Toy Story really managed to help develop this exciting new world we see on screen and all his efforts seem to be paying off so far.

Wreck It Ralph is not only perfect for children, but adults as well being that you’ll be able to see your video game heroes on the big screen. However, you shouldn’t just pay extra to see it in 3D because it adds nothing to it.

This film is not only one of the best family films to come out this year, but it's probably also one of the best animated films of all time.
