Why form a Six Pack Abs require extra effort?

Many people do not know many things about the formation of six pack abs.
As a result, it becomes a futile effort and time consuming.

Abdominal area of our body is different from other body areas.
Characteristics of the abdomen determine how we should treat it so that we can achieve the purpose.
Many people have implemented without the knowledge the diet and exercise on abdominal blood without prior recognizing the characteristics of the area. As the result we could have been one of us unconsciously treat our stomach area.
We often assume principles of exercise for the feet or hands can also be used for the stomach.
Know the characteristics of your body, especially the abdominal area to avoid any miss treatment in the area.

What are the characteristics of the stomach and why formation of six pack abs require extra attention?

1. Because the body has a tendency to choose the abdominal area to store fat. If you gain weight, the first area to be bulgy at the first place is abdominal. At least your abdominal has been enlarged several times before you can truly see the weight gain in the cheeks, legs or hands

2. The body has special pockets to store fat, and abdominal area has pockets to store fat more than other areas.

3. If someone can show some muscle in the elapsed areas, it is because the area has almost no fat, muscle only. However, the composition of the skin in abdominal is thick. The muscles in the abdomen is the most difficult to be shown.

By recognizing this, we encourage you to never give up. Do not worry about why your efforts for abdominal area seem useless. It does take extra time and extra attention.

Just do it the right way and keep up the good work!

Secrets to lose weight

Do  really want to lose weight? try these secrets :
1. Don’t do extreme diet by letting yourself caught in starvation.
When you are extremely hungry you will tend to eat as much as possible.
2. When you feel hungry it doesn’t –always- means you are hungry.
Sometimes feeling thirsty can make someone think he or she is hungry. When you feel hungry, test it. Try to drink water – wait a moment. And only if after 5 minutes you immediately feel hungry gain – it means you are truly hungry (of food).
3. After checking that you are (truly) hungry, eat fruit and vegetables first.
After a while if you are –still- hungry, then eat proportionally. This time you will not eat as large portion as you usually can – because you had at least full of water and vegetables and fruits instead of other food.
4. Eight glass of pure water a day.
This recipe is old fashioned one – but it is proven to be the best way keeping you healthy and slim.
5. Avoid any fried food and replace it with steamed one instead.
Want to be slim and healthy in simple – easy to remember – way ? Simply change any fried food to steamed food. It is very easy to remember. Thinking of eating potato ? Steam it instead of frying it. Thinking of fish ? Steam it. Thinking of meat and stir-fried vegetables? All are still “you can eat” labeled – BUT, steam it. This method is very simple and easy to remember.
You can even shop the same raw material (and save for the cooking oil budget – of course). Just process it
steaming. Why steam ? First; its water will make your stomach feel full right after eating a small portion of it.
Second; steaming avoid oil and fat intake to your body.
6. Encourage yourself to do exercise, to stay healthy and stay slim.
For this point you need a strong commitment. I say “encourage” because this point need some extra push from your surroundings. How your friends thinking of such things determine how you think of the same matter. If your friends does not like to talk about exercise and stay healthy, you might need extra effort to make some new friends who does. Go outside the boundary: join bike community, visit appropriate websites, liking particular Facebook - discussing exercise matters, joining this kind of twitter, and so on. The more you far away from that kind of “discussion” and people, the more you are unaware of how important is to be healthy and stay slim .. and how to achieve it.
7. Extremely avoid curry and food with coconut milk

Healthy Foods

So many advertisement claim to be healthy to be consumed. Beware it might not be as healthy as what it looks like. These are 4 main rules about healthy food :

1. Keep it natural
Healthy food is food that is natural. The simpler and less process, the healthier it did.

As consumers we are often become the victims of unhealthy food advertising by manufacturers of processed foods.
Too many inputs that go on in our brains say that processed foods are healthy foods. Why ? Because manufacturers of processed foods provide huge fund to make you believe that processed foods are healthy foods.

One thing I need to be honest with you is: none of the processed food brand has the right to hold the labels of “as healthy as natural foods”.

In other words, foods that are entitled to wear the label "healthy" never came from any food that has undergone processing from food manufacturers.

Example: meat that is baked directly healthier than meat that has been through any process such as boiled, steamed, blended or anything. Thinking of meat ? Buy the fresh natural one, not a processed sausage. Of course –in the meat case- as long as the meat was served cooked, not raw.
Healthy salads and vegetables are healthier than boiled carrot or corn soup – or even a veggie chips.
Fresh milk is healthier than packed milk and so on and so on. At the end we will have a long list of natural healthy food which comes fresh from your farm.

2. Timing
Another truth about a healthy food is that it must be consumed on the right time. Note this : not every hour in a day, body is ready for food.

There are time zones for body to receive a particular food and supplement. Other than what body is ready to receive, the food will goes to waste without leaving a good nutrient for us. A fat may stay but vitamins and other goodness is leaving.
What are the time zone ?
  • Time to eat. Time between 12 pm to 8 pm (lunch time to diner time) actually is a good time to eat. Meat, potatoes, fish, .. only not fruit. This is a false thinking that fruit is to be consumed every hour. Fruit is only for morning (breakfast) time up to 12 am.
  • Time for fruit . Between 4 am to 12 (noon time) is a good hours to eat fruit. On this time body is in condition of sending food waste out of the body. Fruit has many fibers which can help this process. Fruit is needed during this time. Eating other than fruit will actually distract the inside body movement. The biggest mistake is to eat a lot of food with no fiber during this time. Everything you put inside your body during this time will be written as “waste” to the brain. It causes body to have a lot of waste to be throwing away. And the waste inside your body will sometimes in queue and delayed to be sent outside. To eat during this time will make a traffic jam inside your body.
Also, can you imagine the garbage man taking the wrong plastic bag ? Instead of taking the garbage he is taking away your ”just bought” food supply. Well, that is what your body feel about anything you eat during this period.
  • Time to stop. Between 8 pm to 4 pm body is ready to take advantage of the goodness of food. This is the time for body to digest, to absorb. Practically this is the time for body to enjoy what you have eaten. It is time for your body to relax and layback; and eats what you have eaten. Consume anything during this time will ruin the schedule. Even a cup of banana juice will not work either. Better to stop eating after 8 pm and let your body absorb every goodness of the food you eat before – without distraction.
If you ignore the signal, whatever you eat during this time will not be well treated.

3. Eat in diversity
Eat in diversity. Eat many kind of food. Never stick to one kind of food. Even if this kind is good. Eating a humongous will make you lack of something you might never know. Eat in diversity will help your body to always find a particular needed supplement in every kind of food. This is like shopping in many different places. Even though you might have a favorite place to shop, you can’t supply all of your need in this shop only. You need to look to other shop for other special things. And try new shop ! You might never know what particular tools you’ll find in the next shop you visit. That is what will happen if you try new food. And sometime you will need to push yourself to eat something not your favorite or even what you hate.
People said to eat yolk (the yellow part of the boiled egg) is not good for your health. Do you know that we actually need nutrition equal to 1 up to 2 yolk in a day for protein and calcium supply. But that does not mean that literally we need to eat day by day a whole piece of yolk – two of it. It can be replaced by eating other food with similar contents.
Just make sure you “shop” around. You might not know what is your body lacking of right now. Either minerals, vitamins or other supplement can be luckily and accidentally found in the next eating if you change the menu every day.

iPhone 5 lacks killer feature, still impresses

Looking into the features, design and finish, any one would love to own this fascinating phone and why not when it has the big brand name tag of Apple but is just the brand name sufficient? Does this newly introduced iPhone 5 justify the expectations which the u=public and others had from it. Read on to know more.

With tough competitors on the other side, Apple needs to come out with a phone which would be a fitting answer for others such than the question of comparison never lies, but does iPhone 5 meet those expectations. When the question of the acceptance of this iPhone in the market, then the answer would be affirmative as they go by the figures and when one looks into the values one finds that there has always been a positive slope in the sales of the iPhone after every new iPhone release. We get to see that since Apple has entered the smartphone market from the year 2007, every year a new phone is released whose initiative had been well taken care of by the ex CEO Steve Jobs. After him, the new CEO, Tim Cook has also been active in the same job and has continued the legacy quite well. With iPhone 4S released last year bringing the voice recognition technology made it a great hit in the market escalating sales to great levels.

No doubt iPhone is the major money marker for Apple Inc. and accounts for more than fifty percent of its sales. Data reveals that more than 240 million sets since the iPhone sets have been introduced. This all new iPhone 5 which has been introduced has an awesome 4” retina display providing better and faster LTE-wireless network. In addition, the phone also comes with a customized chip which has been specially designed by Apple known as A6. This A6 chip has allowed Apple to come up with this all new thinner and sleeker version of iPhone 5 having wider screen and dimensions. Weighing almost 3.95 ounces with a width of 2.31”, this iPhone 5 that has been launched id completely made up of glass and aluminum.

As the features of this upcoming iPhone 5 has been rumored for quite some time, reducing the excitement of the launch of this smartphone. Two major things which can be descried for this iPhone 5 is its wider screen display and the faster access to internet. This is due to the fact that for the past 4-5 years, Apple has been coming up with almost the same kind of screen display. One can avail iPhone 5 in two shades, black and white.

The iPhone 5 is taller and thinner than previous models. Photo credit: Apple

Let’s discuss in brief about the features of this iPhone 5 in brief. To start with, there is the best part which is the fact that this phone is much thinner with 0.30” in comparison to 0.37” that was present in iPhone 4S. Though Apple boasts that this is the thinnest phone in the market, but we are all aware of the fact that this race keeps in changing and none has the crown for long. The display is of 4” from the original dimension of 3.5” though the resolution has remained the same of 326 pixels for every inch with an aspect ratio of 16:9.

Wide display to the user implies one more row in the home screen which is welcome news as it would let you reduce the number of home screens. Furthermore you get to see the whole five day week calendar in your screen, more number of events, and better utility of the iWork applications. Any kind of 3rd party applications would work easily on this interface but one would get to see black borders on the sides. In addition, Apple has also conveyed that any kind of wide screen movies would also look great when viewed giving a better resolution and saturation of color than what one could perceive in the previous iPhone 4S. Furthermore with the presence of touch sensors, it has been seen that iPhone 5 is much thinner due to which it is less susceptible to glares.

iPhone 5 has also fixed the flaw which was present in the previous model of iPhone 4 by replacing the glass-back with a metallic back. This was done as most of the user’s ended in cracking the iPhone when the dropped it accidentally from their hands. The metallic back might probably remind you of the original iPhone which had been introduced in the early 2007.

iPhone 5 also supports 4G- LTE networks which is great news apart from the other support which are already present like the GPRS support, EV-DO, HSPA, and EDGE. Now to know which carriers would be there that might support this LTE network consists of AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, etc for the American markets, the Rogers, Fido and Telus for the Canadian markets amd the SK telecom, Singtel etc. for the Asian markets. Telstra, Virgin mobile etc runs in the Australian markets whereas the Deutsche telekom for the European markets. When the carriers do not have the LTE networks, then the iPhone 5 would work upon the dual band of the 3.5 G HDPA.

The A6 chip that is present in the iPhone 5 is twice faster than the A5 chip. In addition one can find better speed while using graphics. Now though this chip is quite faster performance wise, it is much smaller in comparison to the A5 chip.

Coming to the battery life part, it has been seen that the iPhone 5 gives a better battery backup of round about eight hours on 3G and approximately eight hours in talk time. Roughly 10 hours backup is obtained while one uses the Wi-Fi and the same hours almost when any video is played. With a standby time of about 225 hours and 40 hours of much back up this is an awesome set for all age groups.

iPhone 5 is available in the markets in the black as well as white versions can be availed in 3 kinds of models of varied capacities. The one with the 16 GB comes at a price of $199 whereas the one with the 32 GB comes with a price of $299 and the third one with the 64GB has a price of $399. By September 21st, this smartphone iPhone 5 would be live in more than 9 countries consisting of United States, United Kingdom, Canada, France, Hong Kong, Germany, Australia, Singapore, etc.

Coming to the camera part, there is the prime or the chief camera which has a 8 MP lens with an awesome resolution and picture clarity. The camera also has an illumination on the backside with a IR filter (hybrid) and a lens of 5 element nature having an aperture of f2.4. With the all new dynamic mode, it has been seen that when one launches the photography applications then it can run much faster in comparison to the older versions. Another new feature which one can see in iPhone 5 is the image –signal processor that is present in the A6 customized chip. With this one can bring in huge reduction in the noise spatially and can also bring in a kind of smart filter which aids in producing better clarity images and can also aid in capturing photos faster. In addition to this, there is the inbuilt panorama mode which aids in combining the shots taken into a single mega snap having 28 MP!

Coming to the secondary camera which is present in the front end can easily shoot videos of 720 p high definition nature with the assistance that it gets from the back side illuminated sensor. The launch of iOS 6 has been heard for quite some time now but one need to check which providers or carriers would allow these features as not all allow the same. Video recording clarity and image quality is awesome with features like better face detection, image-stabilization, etc. The phone also allows you to capture snaps while you are shooting a video.

The audio part compared to the previous model has an additional microphone where one lies in the bottom, one on the front end of the handset and the third on the rear side of the handset. The speaker contrary to the previous models (2 magnets) has 5 magnets now! The presence of a wideband –audio feature provides better natural sounding voices. The iPhone 5 has a smaller dock connector known as lightning, which is reversible in nature. This dock being small would not allow any other accessories docks or chargers, adapter cables etc to be used with this new iPhone 5, thereby rendering them all archaic. Though Apple would provide its cables and other docks and accessories, one might find that the adapter given might seems a bit awkward to use with the accessories like bedside-alarm, music player, etc.

With the all new iOS6 present in iPhone 5, one would get to see a whole new world revealed before oneself. One can also get to download this iOS6 online from 19th September 2012. After viewing iPhone 4S, it would be really difficult to understand the differences with iPhone 5 from the side view. Though this iPhone 5 is not something which comes with drastically major differences in comparison to iPhone 4S, but there have been few slight changes made like in the display, weight, the iOS 6 presence, better pixels and the trump card – 4G- LTE along with the better and improved battery life it provides.

The iTunes feature has also been reworked upon to make a better and simplified interface along with integration with iCloud and an addition of a mini player. The developers and engineers feel that by doing this, the iTunes feature would become all the easier for individuals to use thereby providing smooth navigation with an enhanced performance. As music seems to be there in the veins of all in Apple, reason which it went on to create iPod and iTunes which has gone far in revolutionizing the musical industry. New and better iTunes developments have been introduced and one can get to see more of them when the same would be live by 19th September 2012. Let’s see how well iPhone 5 performs in the market with all these new and improved features but may be discarding to incorporate the NFC might cost Apple badly when all its rivals in the market have the same.

Apple iPhone 5 – Is this really the next generation cellular technology

The screen size of Apple though has been slightly bigger size than its previous models but the question remains would Apple bring in a iPhone with a bigger screen or would it keep to its age old tradition of the 3.5” display or not. With tough competitors in the market introducing smart phones with better resolution and screen size, we all doubt whether Apple would be able to match up with them with its paltry 3.5” or the rumored 4” with 4.8” easily available before its launch. In addition when we see that resolution clarity, it has been assumed that Apple would come with an 1136x640 resolution, when the smart phone market with its competitor Galaxy S3 sitting with the 1280 x 720 resolution would give Apple a tight fight.

With other pre-launched phones having remarkable quad core (four cores) processors having a speed of 1.4 GHz, it remains to be seen what Apple comes up with. Though we might guess that Apple too might come up with the quad processor, the evidences goes the other way. This is due to the fact that has Apple really thought of launching the iPhone with a quad processor, then its iPad which has been recently released would not have had the A5-x chip having just a quad core GPU and has a CPU with a dual core specification.

Moving to the connectivity aspect which is also a prime issue which needs to be considered while buying a phone. The all new iPhone 5 have just a 19 pin connector with no presence of any micro SD slot nor any kind of micro SIM. On the contrary you get to find its toughest competitor, Samsung having all the slots of the micro USB, the micro SD as well as for the micro SIM. Hence Apple needs to think about this as this might be a great deciding factor especially for the young and teenagers as they look for phones with better connectivity features and applications, having more versatility and flexibility. One of the biggest defeat which this iPhone 5 would face is the fact that it might not be compatible with the 30 pin connector which is used commonly for all the iPods, iPads as well as the other previous models of iPhones, and instead would be using the 19 pin model. This 19 pin model is said to be something which would be like the micro USB though not exactly as it is. Due to this 19 pin and absence of 30 pin factor, the new iPhone would be incompatible with all the other iPhone docking-accessories which is not at all a good news for the Apple fans or fanatics.

Another one drawback which Apple needs to work upon is the aspect that it still relies a lot on the sync software for transferring of files and the same cannot be done directly. With phones like Samsung etc. bringing the drag and drop function for transferring of files, it’s high time that Apple moves ahead.

The other factor which we found is that the new iPhone 5 is said to come with a 1430 mAh battery, this iPhone or the so called next generation technology in cellular is not probably the right move as you find so many other phones in the market providing a better back up like Samsung which has a battery of 2100 mAh, HTC One X with a battery of 1800 mAh, Sony Xperia S using a battery of 1750 mAh, etc. the paltry 1430 mAh is not going to serve the purpose. Though it has been assumed that the new iPhone 5 might be able to perform better than its iPhones 4S predecessor. Hence it is for sure that Apple Inc. needs to come up with something really miraculous with respect to the power management of this iPhone 5 like a larger battery that the iPhone 4S, to meet the high expectations which the public is having about this rumored next generation cellular- technology.

Furthermore though iPhone 5 is assumed to come up with the NFC or the fear field connectivity technology, this might not be a trump card as there are other devices as well in the market which have this technology present in them like Samsung, Motorola, LG, Nokia, BlackBerry, etc. Hence the onus now lies on you to decide what to choose.

How to lose Weight Fast and Safely

Guys, have you ever wondered about how to lose weight fast? And none of your skinny friends can clearly explain the "how?"

If you do not carefully pick to whom you asked this question of diet, you may get stuck asking to the wrong person. Don't get me wrong, but the wrong person could be your own best friend ! She/he might got effective
diet tips but does not want to share the biggest secret to you.
Why ? Because after all you and your best friend could be a rival on searching the best mates. Do you think if you and your best friend are attracted to a one same good-looking guy – your best friend would like to share the secret to be looked as slim as super star to you ? I don’t think so.

So be careful. Diet is a private matter that is too dangerous for people to hear vain talk. Follow the trust able site and receive only "make sense and proven advise"

Not many people know how to go on a diet, but here are a series of diet plans that have proved successful in reducing my weight in relatively short period of time: one month only!

Remember that most of these tips is very natural and free of charge, so get ready !

• Green tea - this is not a figment products. Green tea has hundreds of years of proven efficacious in reducing the fat content in the body. But make sure you are not drinking bottled or canned drinks flavored green tea,
because this canned beverage contained an artificial sweetener that will totally ruin your diet program. You should directly drink the water decoction of the green tea leaves. Drink your home made green tea for guarantee of authenticity. Replace all of your beverages consumption with green tea (original one) and your weight will drop dramatically

Changing the desire to eat by drinking (instead of eating) - it seems a bad idea, because you imagine a bloated stomach. But note well that sometimes the urge to eat is not solely from a hungry body. But the sense of wanting to eat can come from feeling like snacking. Your mouth feel itching for wanting to put something in it. You should not satisfy this desire with food. Try to fulfill it by only drinking. At least check that it should wait until the time to eat (meal time). There are so many calories that you will avoid by replacing the desire to snack fried potatoes with just drinking green tea. Have you ever feel that after eating remained in hungry ? Sometimes bodies that used to eat a lot going will wrongly indicate thirst with a desire to eat. Means when they are thirsty they can wrongly send the signal of hungry. Some people are used to eat rather than drink – unconsciously – by default. It is a bad habit. Do not proceed this way.

Eat slowly. If you eat quickly, the food is not chewed properly. The body will send signals to the brain to continue eating and starving for food. Your hunger will continue. If you eat slowly you will be satisfied with less portion. When you eat in a hurry, your meal time will be short, and you'll quickly hungry again. It is highly recommended for you to enjoy each mouthful properly. At the end you can spend only one plate of food during your lunch time. You will not have a chance to eat any additional food. And you will be satisfied eating because the body sends a signal that the food you eat is digested properly.
One key secret is : everyone has a different meal time. If you're used since childhood to eat from at 8 in the morning  until 8.30, then during those hours the body will send hunger signals. If you eat quickly, then for half an hour you will send a lot of food to your tummy. Sandwich, milk, fruit, chocolate bars, and others. But if during that time you chew slowly oatmeal, then at the end what you eat for half an hour is only a plate of oatmeal. Great idea isn’t it ?

There are many more hidden trick for diet plans.

Steve Jobs: Impact On Our Daily Life

 Job's Innovation

The passing of Apple visionary Steve Jobs in 2011 is still reverberating throughout the fields of popular electronics, mobile communications, and the media culture experienced by the mass consumer. The innovations and "humanization" of technology introduced by Mr. Jobs changed the way people use computers, hand-held devices, and served to alter their conception as to what was is an essential appliance. From making smart phones something that the average person could relate to, to making the tried concept of the software application something homey by calling them "apps," his contributions have impacted the daily lives of millions.

Impact on computers

The most immediate impact of Jobs was in computing, and derives from his contributions in converting the notion of personal productivity (using a home computer) from a distant abstract concept, to a practical reality. Apple and IBM with the market makers in the early 80s in this conversion process, and while the open architecture philosophy of IBM emotive versatility, Jobs'competing vision sought to show the public how his Apple and Macintosh computers could be embraced by individuals in a custom fashion. Like the company's iconic symbol, an apple with a bite taken out of it, Jobs believed in producing objects are that humans are actually getting something out of.

Jobs also showed people how a complete PC system, particularly with the Mac, could serve human needs, and have a complete look and feel, compared to consumers buying a partial computer set up on the IBM side. In CBS's memorial story on Jobs, Ryan Gaines, an avid Apple product user pointed out that the products "look sleek, they look like the future...he's made everything much more simple." Others are profiled using iPods to teach the children, jogging while listening to iTunes, or working anywhere it was a Wi-Fi signal on their iMac - sometimes all in the same day. Such is the effect of computing age, and the Apple brand in standardizing the use of these products.

Impact on handhelds

To say that Steve Jobs reinvented, or rather maximized the potential of smart phones, portable music and tablet PCs, would be an understatement. Each of these were already in primitive existence from the 90s onward, but until Jobs returned to Apple and developed the ultimate brand concept for each item, the general public did not embrace them in a massive way. Johnson led a team of developers in envisioning how to make product that would practically do things people actually wanted, in a size format that was easily usable in a person's hand.

Let there be no mistake - no one in the industry from any brand other than Apple got throngs of people to line up at Apple stores waiting to buy an iPod, iPad and iPhone upon their initial release. The entire concept of waiting for the latest consumer products as if it was a hit movie begins and ends with Steve Jobs, and his imprint on handheld technologies. Consumers would make pilgrimages to electronics tradeshows just to hear Jobs speak on the future of the new industry, since it had become clear he was driving its engine.

Impact on music playing

The completion of the evolution of the concept of making music listening portable, that began with the boombox of the 70s and Walkman of the 80s, was completed by Steve Jobs with the iPod circa the 2000's. Apple made the revisions, and case for "music in motion" that was not fully realized before that point, even by MP3 players. Again, he was keen on merging product that functions in ways we would want to use it, with a sleek, compact, futuristic look. On the software side, selling access to music on an online store was also perfected under the Apple iTunes model. Jobs had the foresight to see music was headed towards digital files, divorced from being locked into CDs or other physical source, and could be sold song by song instead of by album.

Impact on video

The impact of Steve Jobs on video is underreported, but real. "Steve Jobs was a pioneer in bringing digital media to the masses with the launch of the Macintosh, which focused on making things easier to do create, curate and distribute our content. QuickTime in particular, helped grow video on the desktop from a postage stamp size video to a full HD video that can be produced entirely on a mobile device," says Larry Kless, President of OnlinVideoPublishing.com. "Apple revolutionized the professional video editing industry with Final Cut Pro, and the home video market with iMovie, iDVD, iPhoto and iTunes. Steve Jobs' innovation and influence in music, film and mobility (iPod, iTunes, iPhone, iPad) will be remembered long into the future."

Simply by being a figurehead in advancing smart mobile devices, Jobs moved the ball forward with video. Use of a mobile phone for capturing video on the fly was rare circa 2000, but ubiquitous in current handheld use. In turn, video sharing sites such as YouTube have benefited from the evolution of the camera phone function, with video of concerts and other events making up a large portion of the original content uploaded to the site. Apple's rule in helping develop computer animation, particularly for theatrical entertainment, such as the Toy Story movies, is also an underreported fact.

Impact on culture

Steve Jobs created much of the enthusiasm the public has for computers and digital devices, from 1980s forward. The '1984' Macintosh commercial, still one of the most iconic ads in TV history, put forward not just an eye-catching advert, but a vision for defining the difference between Apple and the IBM PC. People get excited over a given software product or PC model at any given time, but the computer buying public was always more influenced by the introduction of Apple products, as a whole line, then they would be over the PC line. Jobs created a "cult of the release" or "next big thing" anticipation format for marketing that made Apple a household name, one that everyone knew of even if they never bought one of his products.

One of the highest achievements of branding has always been to be able to get people to refer to a specific product by the brand name or brand item, instead of its literal name (we speak of using Tide to wash clothes instead of using detergent, and so on). The whole generation has grown up talking about iPods, iPhones, iPads et al, instead of referring to them as portable devices or tablet PCs, which is what they are. Apple has carved out an identity for itself apart from other brands in popular culture more deeply than any other brand in the consumer electronics industry. Steve Jobs accomplished this to an extent that may not be ever reproduced again in pop culture.

Steve Jobs Timeline of Effect

Impact on business

In wake of the financial success of Steve Jobs creating the most profitable company on the planet, with Apple now estimated to be worth $623 billion (outstripping Microsoft), a large industry has now emerged analyzing his entire financial model, marketing strategy, and business philosophy. Some may say Jobs simply packed greater total value into this product line than others could with theirs, and as a result money gravitated to his ventures. This in turn allowed Jobs to more fully develop innovative and perfectly (as perfect as one can get) functioning products, while leaving the other products and companies in the dust.

"The competitors simply don't touch people's lives the way Apple does," said famous CNBC he 'Mad Money' stock analyst Jim Cramer, in explaining how Jobs' business model always ended up causing his products to dominate market share. "You have to believe that if Apple made cars, they'd [also] put Toyota, Audi etc. to shame." Other analysts have pointed to this philosophy of hanging around the top people, who in turn don't settle for second best, in order to insure the products had that top level value that would attract customers, market share, and thus attract still more money for future development.

Impact on daily life

"Live each day as if it was your last," Jobs was known to say, particularly in the final years when his pancreatic cancer was telling him his days were short. "If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you'll most certainly be right." He operated each day on a tight clock, trying to get something done before his body called it quits. He simply committed to make any impact every day of his life, as many other lives as possible. By concentrating on doing what he loved, surrounding himself with top level people in order to produce it, and making it usable and attractive to the intended audience as possible, he excelled in realizing his goals and dreams.

This philosophy, as much as the technology he brought to market, is what has impacted the daily lives of millions of consumers around the world. Steve Jobs put a dent in the universe (another one of his mottos), and that impression remains deep.

Raman Ghimire's Arthaat Hami Book Review

Raman Ghimire tends to focus on plenty of the relevant present-day issues of Nepal in Arthaat Hami.

His most recent essay collection surrounds plenty of issues at the same time, dissects Nepali society in a very skillful manner along with its economical and political elements while painting a vivid picture of contemporary times covered from multiple angles.

In this particular volume he offers a wider view of this country's circumstances some of which complimentary, other's not as much. There's also a mixture of examinations when it comes to people's lives as well as how they're all linked.

You'll notice that there's plenty of emotionally moving stuff to be found in his work, and I'm sure you'll be moved by some of the pieces. He is easily able to infuse major depth and dynamics within his work and I'd personally go back and re-read some of them. One of my favorites was probable "Deraako gamasan" because it provides an excellently realistic view of Kathamamdy valley's ruthless house owners, which even though might come off as stereotypical still manage to hit very close to the truth.

He takes advantage of Saskrit phrases in this as well as some of his other pieces and presents some of the themes in subtle ways making effective use of them. One other inclusion worth noting is "Concreteka junglema ubhiyera" describing the contrast and also the Capital outside of Nepal as well as an amazing discussion about the centers and the margin face-offs that occur in there when it comes to all the resources and political power they have at their disposal.

He also includes in scope some natural disasters such as earthquakes in "Balebela bhuichaalo airahanuparchha" and uses them to demonstrate the attitude of Nepali people when it comes to avoiding some preemptive measures and spring only to action when the major problems show up. His innermost feelings and thoughts are being revealed in "Arthaat hami" which is an anthology where he let his instincts and thoughts run as they choose.

You'll notice how brief he is when it comes to explaining in this 16 essay collection that composes 109 pages in total. Ghimire decided to turn away the dense academic prose that so many writers out there prefer which might repel your casual reader and he instead chooses concise, light and quick to evoke emotion type of writing. For instance, in one essay "Kurup Nagarkot" he uses it to express what he things about the rampant pseudo-intellectualism which seems to be making its rounds around literary circles in recent times.

One other satirical piece which very closely exposes the extravagant is "Ghadile samaya chalaudaina", includes what plenty of Nepalis suffer from, which festivals as well as events have started to become status symbols and ones that should be put on display. What he believes to be a thing preventing may people from progressing and moving forward is a mindset in which pride is being put side to side with property and it's all being exhibited without shame. Sometimes you'll notice a bit of a drama touch in his writing, especially when he decides to talk about how underdeveloped the majority of this country is as well as the politics of it that result in a nation of people overwhelmed with constant disappointment.

Not only is his writing sharp, you can easily notice how shrewd his personality is and he uses cynicism and irony so apparent that it allows him to form some firm theoretical foundations and provide witty arguments. Analogies exist in large quantities out here and you can notice the attention to detail in moments that are easy to overlook but might be the most illuminating of all.

The majority of essays in here tend to be exemplars in construction and his ideas are displayed with amazing skill and credibility to words. The deeply or seriously thoughtful concepts will easily make their way into the text here and there's a sense of dexterity about his writing that in most cases works to his favor and makes him stand out, especially with works such as "Niswartha swartha" which carefully examines human relationships and the lack of profundity.

His language might come off as unstable at times, but it's very accessible to readers and very clear because he wanted to make sure to reach out to as many people as possible. Considering that he has taken on vast subjects to cover in just a single volume, it might seem a bit scattery at times and some of the ideas start and then end somewhat abruptly. So even when they're good enough by themselves, they might distract the reader to some of the larger themes that bind with the rest of the book. It might have been advisable for him to narrow down on the effects and the just focus on a few specific areas instead of making attempts at covering lots of ground.

Overall, there are some errors which you'll notice with fallacious sentences and minor grammatical errors making the text seem sluggish at times. And most readers looking for a breezy type of read aren't going to have their needs suited by this volume. However, those of you willing to spend some time thinking and unknotting layer by layer of these complex thoughts of an already well-known journalist with an amazingly keen analytical eye shouldn't look any further. This is the type of book that will remain in your memory for a long period of time, and provides with plenty of insight into present day Nepal.
