Assassin’s Creed III – The Storm, about to rise on Playstation and PS Vita.

The first look of Assassin’s Creed III(ASIII) literally took the world by storm and since then we had been hunting and more than just patiently waiting for the preview release of the immensely popular , “game of the mass” Assassin’s Creed III. Definitely, it’s not a conventional “thing” to do, considering we are still months from the game’s official curtain raiser, but the entire gaming fraternity is indeed indebted to Ubisoft who gave us a sneak-peak of this marvel at E3. And the preview looks mighty promising! We would not waste any time giving a nice, cheesy introduction to ACIII as expecting the audience, is already aware of the ASIII legacy. If you are not, we reckon you get hands on of the previous editions of Assassin’s Creed before reading this. Thus not wasting any further time, let us take a look how Assassin’s Creed III shapes up on multi platform titles.

assassin's creed 3

On PS Vita

For some, it might be a mere impossibility but the fact is the universe of Splinter Cell and Assassin’s Creedare getting into closer proximities. Alike Splinter Cell Blacklist’s Sam Fisher who adopts the more agile moves of Ezio and Altair, the new female lead, Aveline of ASIII is featured picking up some of Sam’s kills. You got it spot on, the ACIII – Liberation sports the ‘mark and execute’ mode which was first brought in Splinter Cell conviction.

Players will grab execute points as they turn out to be skillful stealth killers. Thus entering the mode where they can touch the display to bring out the opponents to kill. Controls are as simple as A,B,C where in with just the touch of a button Aveline grudges into action, massacring her enemies.

Elsewhere, Ubisoft is claiming that this game is distinctively a diverse adventure from its console winged brother! Seemingly so , setup about a decade back in the back drop of another city (New Orleans), and a featuristicallydistinct foe from the Britishers ( It’s the Spaniards this time). But the flavor and gameplay venture remains the same as it is being developed on identical platform as that of the Playstation and using the same prototypes.

With a lot more Vita tweaking, this game is an absolute pumper. The game is designed keeping the front touch screen and back pad in mind, and they will be used to the fullest. The aesthetics of the game is build keeping in mind the portable nature of the PS Vita.Albeit, missions will be shorter in span however the resident grounded brutal feeling of the Assassin’s Creed will not be missing!

On Console

Amidst some heater skeeter rocks, bush and vista of the Bunker Hill rises the Assassin hunting his prey – a Brit Commander, on the tip of an opposing peak. The American colonists open arsenal with barbaric instincts and no co-ordination against a superior numbered disciplined British chivalry, who are on the way of the Assassin. As they break fire, a war cry rises. The bullets from muskets tear into the American militia from across the valley. However the Assassin moves un-baffled, unmoved, determined! Although in rage he is careful of the battle around him. He collects himself and all his strength to dispatch the enemy with ardent brutality, and immense force. The gameplay moves in a flash to the sharp end of a tomahawk, after enough bloodshed!

ACIII is the result of years of hard work to give it a realistic phenomena. A transition to the American War of Revolution rather than just a periodic time-bound movement and agitation. The outfit of the assassin remains unchanged. Wouldn’t say Gothic, however the ancient feeling is very much impeccable. However the player experiences the combat mechanics are sharp and innovative with the implementation of both defense and counter-attack. The game play is more fluid, flexible and definitely test your skills. Natural elements like Fog, rain and snow determines the reactions of the foe and controls the proceedings as the game advances.

The ACIII re-assures that the game is a venture of the BRAND Assassin’s creed. However some skillful innovation has definitely changed the game’s behavior, With the last minute polishing of the trio-fecta it has proven of its potentials. The game gets more brutal sheds more blood however the disciplined British Army doesn’t last longer. ACIII is much more than just a direct combat game, which aims at vengeance with the protagonist ram parting the enemies without definitive mission. The use of intellectual elements along with the combat makes the game interesting to say the least!

Due to the improved lighting and portability the PS Vita wins the title for us, however that doesn’t undermine the Console based ACIII. Needless to say, the ACIII will be marked as one of the block-buster releases this year and the entire gaming fraternity.
