It has been rumored that the next iPhone 6 which is due to be released during Christmas 2013 is following the going green agenda. Apple seems to have suddenly realized its social responsibility or is it just another trick for capturing a bigger market share remains to be seen. With Apple incorporating upon the going green schema in more than one way, let’s see on how the same would be affecting the likes and dislikes of consumers and the Apple fanatics.
By replacing the ORB battery with a casing made of plastic polymer is probably making headlines and Apple is all set to bring the difference as goes the tagline of the company. This change which has been incorporated by the company would not just be helping the users but would also play an important role in conserving the ecosystem. In addition to the same, it has also been rumored that the upcoming iPhone 6 to come up with a graphene touchscreen and hence has used no heavy metals in making the set. We are yet to receive any conformations or official declarations from Apple’s side on the same. There are also speculations that Apple would do away with the indium tin oxide basal structure and the touch screen would be made up of a polymer which is of an atom dense kind. In addition to the same, iPhone 6 is said to come up with a much thinner base than the previous versions of iPhone’s which have been released.
Due to the sleek structure, the user would be able to easily trace, draw, better touch facility and much more efficient game-play.
Apple is all set to introduce the organic radical battery or the ORB which has been designed by NEC of Japan. By replacing the lithium ion battery Apple has been able to do away with the heavy metals which had been harmful ecologically. There are rumors that the new ORB battery would be able to give iPhone 6 a recharge time of just 30 odd seconds! To add to the punch it has been seen that this little battery would be having a higher energy density as well, thereby giving the phone a better battery life which probably the previous versions of Apple has been lacking. So this may be one of the trump cards for Apple Inc. it seems.
To add the feather to the cap is the plastic casing made of eco-friendly materials. So now it is a good bye to the polycarbonate casing which had been used till date and a welcome sign to the new and latest isoplast polymer made up of plastic which is naturally produced. By doing this, the casing would become all the more biodegradable. The initiative by Apple Inc. here is to enhance the durability of the model as this new isoplast polymer casing would be able to withstand extreme conditions better as well as harder falls and drops as well!
Furthermore by making the 6 version much sleeker, slimmer and lighter, would be an added bonus for Apple when it would be there in the market competing with the other ‘droid’ equivalents. Being in the race is necessary when the competition gets tougher and though with the brand name which Apple has created, getting sales would never be a problem, but who would never want to enhance the sales level by some more. That extra bit is liked and probably wished by all entrepreneurs and why would Apple be behind in race.
Coming to the changeable topography which has been linked with the upcoming iPhone 6, is yet another speculation which is being made by the tech pundits. Though we well know that all kinds of devices which are touchscreen in nature have some or the other kind of similarity in the formatting of background. This upcoming iPhone 6 is probably going to be the 1st phone which would have few specific kind of images appearing on the screen in a 3D fashion for highlighting the significance of the same. In addition to the same, the iPhone 6 would be having an extraneous background litter present on the screen, as ‘deflate’ for providing the user with a better appealing experience. This kind of technology would be more useful while one uses the internet browsers, streaming online videos or playing online video games.
