Happy New Year!!! Ah!!! It is 2013, so we have managed to pass the apocalypse and the so called dooms day, hurray!!! But with the beginning of each year comes in the most talked about part in Hollywood, yes you are thinking the same as I am. We would be now talking about the OSCAR nominations. Well, the nominations are out and it is now our work to choose the best of the best and get them their golden beauty.
Before we go in depth of talking about the nominations let us first talk about the Oscar awards, alright, I know that all of you are already aware of what Oscar is but still for those who are new to this – this is the 85th Oscar award and the red carpet has been laid down now with the nominations out for different categories. Thou Oscar have got lot of categories like best foreign language film, best animated film, best singer, best lyrics etc… but the most hyped one, well I mean the most talked about awards and nominations are for the best actor, best actress, best director, best actor and actress in a supporting role and of course best movie.
OK, you must be wondering why the above are the most talked about nomination and award, well simply because they are more based on public choice than the jury members, and hence these nominations and awards stands out from others, the competition is high and based on public choice the awards are handed over to the lucky one.
Now since I have already stated about the nominations that are more into lime light and the reason why? So now let us spend some time to understand on who are the nominated people in these different categories and why? A big question right because, the best of the best would only get this far and ahead. Well, so let me use a common phrase from the stage of Oscar – “the nominations are”,
